November 30, 2012

Mobile Bay Monthly - August 2005Having made it's way from Alabama to Italy where it was included in the Bienalle Internazionale, Florence Art Show, the inspiring painting "Tour de France" by local artist Kay Daughdrill, will be proudly displayed at Pinnacle Brain & Spine Center, the home of The Watson Neuroscience Foundation.

Featured on the front cover of Mobile Bay Monthly in August of 2005, this exceptional acrylic painting will soon take pride of place in our practice where it will inspire staff and patients alike, as it embodies many of the principals and ideals we hold core at Watson.

During a discussion about why "Tour de France" was chosen to adorn the offices of The Watson Neuroscience Foundation, Dr. Juan Ronderos, M.D. had this to say:

It's very rare that I see a painting and feel that it would be suitable for our office, but "Tour de France" caught my eye and I was inspired. It embodies what we do at Pinnacle and at the Watson Neuroscience Research Foundation. It portrays passion, professionalism, determination, a winning spirit, and it's a reminder of the importance of using helmets to protecting athletes from sports concussions and injury.
There's a lot of us in this painting.
